Expressive Writing for Theatre 3,

Ages 14-18

Course Fee: $325 + HST

 

Expressive Writing for Theatre 3 allows students to write and see their work on stage. It is an intensive semester-long playwriting process which will culminate in writing a one-act play. Students will learn about self-editing techniques and a dramaturgical approach to text, as well as an in-depth analysis of the character arc structure. The course will conclude with a staged reading of a portion of your play at the end of the semester. You’ll have the opportunity to see your craft on stage while being mentored by a professional writer and director throughout the entire process. 

Prerequisite: Expressive Writing for Theatre 2 or equivalent

LOCATION: In-person at 355 Cooper St.
