This 3-term course runs from September 21st - June 7th and concludes with a screening of a created short film based on the students' work and inspired by a classic film. The course is designed specifically for those who would like to gain confidence as performers and become more knowledgeable of the necessary skills required to audition for film and TV. Participants will have the opportunity to explore drama in an engaging and practical way. Experience will be gained by practicing audition technique, analyzing text and scripts, learning what to expect on set, and participating in numerous on-camera exercises, as well as discussing the business of acting. In addition to learning the fundamentals of being-on-camera, participants will collectively write and shoot a short film based on a classic movie.
