The screening will take place at the end of June. The course is designed specifically for those who would like to gain confidence as performers and become more knowledgeable of the necessary skills required to audition for film and TV. Participants will have the opportunity to explore drama in an engaging and practical way. Experience will be gained by practicing audition technique, analyzing text and scripts, learning what to expect on set, and participating in numerous on-camera exercises, as well as discussing the business of acting. In addition to learning the fundamentals of Being-On-Camera, participants will collectively write and shoot a short film based on the classic movie. Using the skill sets that they acquire throughout the course, a short reimagining of the film will be created and screened.
