Crisis Resources
Ottawa Children’s Theatre is mindful that this is a stressful time for families and many parents are balancing work with taking care of children. There are many resources available to you and your children, notably Kids Help Phone, which is Canada’s only 24/7 national support service. They offer professional counseling, information and referrals and volunteer-led, text-based support to young people in both English and French.

The Board of Education has a list of online resources that provide information and tips to support student, staff and parents mental health and well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic. We would also like to share this resource bout Indigenous Kinship practices at home that may be helpful at this time

Financial Assistance
The Ottawa Children's Theatre is entirely fees based. We do not receive any additional funding. We try to keep our fees as low as possible, but we know that it has been a difficult year financially for some families. If you are struggling, please contact us and we will do our best to help. We do not want any child turned away from our classes due to lack of funds.
