This course is especially designed for students with previous experience who are ready for a more in-depth approach to acting. With guidance from award winning theatre writer, actor, director Chelsey Fawcett students will explore multiple roles as writers, directors and actors to explore what it’s like to go through the entire production process from concept to realization. Students will be tasked with writing, directing, and acting in their shows. Actors in The Creative Ensemble will work with voice, movement and expressive writing techniques to create original characters, explore themes and different methods for acting and story telling. Students will get an experience for what it feels like to be in a production from start to finish. Together, the group will share ideas and discover the possibilities theatre exploration has to unleash.
